Solar domestic hot water systems can be a cost-effective way to generate hot water for your home. These systems include a large (80 - 200 gallon) storage tank to store water heated by the arrays. Differential controls regulate the movement of fluids through the panels. Hot water generated by solar thermal panels is stored between 140-180° F.
